Pushkar Fair 2016 Rajasthan, India


Pushkar an important religious place of Hindus is located at a distance of 11 km from Ajmer in Rajasthan State. This city is encircled by hills on three sides and sand dunes on the other which make it a beautiful city that summons scores of tourists from several parts of the globe. The foremost attraction of this place is annual PushkarCamel Fair held every year on the day of Karthik Purnima in October or November.

Pushkar Fair Festval Start from 8 November to 14 November, and offers you luxury camping and the ultimate way to experience the more traditional aspects of Pushkar Fair, one of Rajasthan's most spectacular events. The Pushkar Fair official programme events and fairground will run from 8 November to Monday 14 November. The full moon night, Kartik Purnima 2016 is 14 November.
The grand Pushkar festival is a wonderful experience that will make a magical sojourn to the royal state of Rajasthan. Pushkar fair is celebrated on full moon day in the month of November. Thousands of devotees flock to the holy Pushkar lake to take a holy dip. The pristine lake is surrounded by 52 ghats, where people take holy bath to wash away their sins.

The Pushkar camel fair is the world's largest camel trading fair. Around 30,000 camels are being traded here. Cultural programmers including folk dance and music are the real feast for eyes.
